We are currently looking for a Junior Systems Administrator with a demonstrated record of technical competence and exceptional customer service to join the IT Service Desk team. This role will provide systems and high-level desktop support to our team. Your role will support our Windows Server, Mac OS, and Windows 10 environments, mobile devices, and various SaaS applications used within the organization. Tasks and responsibilities
- As part of the Service Desk team, you will provide system and desktop support for our internal customers
- Create, manage, and solve tickets, ensuring completion within our departmental SLAs
- Onboard new employees and deploy hardware refreshes to existing employees
- Provide level 2 support for conference rooms, ensuring effective video and audio conferencing
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues on Mac OS and Windows computers
- Work with the IT Engineering team on projects and operational issues
- Assist team with managing infrastructure operations
Education and experience
- Relevant master degree or trade certificate. Relevant experience can compensate for lack of formal education.
- 5-10 years experience – with maintenance of offshore installations
About you
- 3+ years of experience as a Windows Systems administrator. Linux experience is a plus
- 2+ years of experience in a technical support role
- Good computer skills and high SAP skills in maintenance and material module
- Good communications skills in French and English
- Windows Server and Active Directory experience
- MacOS and Windows 10 proficiency
- Knowledge of G Workspace and Office 365
- Familiarity with MDM systems, ie. JAMF and Ivanti
- Strong networking skills
- Zoom and Zoom Room support experience
- Experience as an administrator of enterprise SaaS applications
